We’ve always believed great merch should travel well. And this summer, it did.
From South America to Scandinavia, through sun, storms, and a whole lot of customs paperwork, the Star Gift crew hit the road with Norah Jones for 17 tour stops across 10 countries. We packed the gear. We zipped the hoodies. We drank the espresso. And we survived the one universal challenge of international touring: figuring out where your stuff is and which road case it’s in.
Michelle, our resident tour queen, was on-site for it all. Between setting up merch, keeping projects moving, and documenting good dogs across Europe, she somehow found time to chat about what this summer really looked like.
Favorite City on the Tour?
“Copenhagen. Easy. The people were amazing, it felt super safe, and it’s both environmentally and pet friendly. A win for the planet and the pups.”
Biggest Challenge?
“PACKING. Every leg of the tour required separate road cases, so making sure the right swag made it to the right city was like playing merch Tetris… across international borders.”
Tour Essentials?
Michelle kept cozy in her Norah Jones zip hoodie, stayed dry in a North Face rain jacket, and braved the chill in a Yellowstone Ski Resort puffer. We call that a layered legacy.
Favorite Part of Being on the Road?
“My road family is amazing. The people make it.”
Hardest Part?
“My cats would say it’s being away from them. And I agree.”
What About Off Days?
“Catching up on SGA projects and trying not to check my bag tracking app for the millionth time.”
And in case you’re wondering, yes, we’re heading back out soon. Japan’s calling in September and the crew is already prepping for another round of organized chaos, last-minute miracles, and perfectly packed merch that feels as good in Osaka as it does in Oslo.
Until then, shoutout to all the hoodie-wearing, passport-stamping, bag-dragging folks we met along the way. Your good vibes (and good taste in swag) keep us going.
P.S. If you see someone in a Norah Jones hoodie this fall… say hey. It might just be us.
